(H)Être | Agora Tree

En 2024, le grand hêtre de Val-d'Illiez, vieux de 268 ans, a été abattu. Cette archive retrace le portrait de ce vénérable arbre, à travers des témoignages recueillis pour la série d'oeuvres artistiques intitulée (H)Être. Avec les voix de Aline Gillabert, Sophie Barré-Kummer, Raymond Avanthay, Fernand Es-Borrat et François Vaudan.

In 2024, the 268-years-old beech from Val-d'Illiez was felled. This is an archive that retraces the portrait of this historic tree, through testimonials collected and curated in the making of an art series in dialogue with the Tree, entitled (H)Être. With the voices of Aline Gillabert, Sophie Barré-Kummer, Raymond Avanthay, Fernand Es-Borrat et François Vaudan.
